About the event
This workshop invites participants into a culturally rooted, trauma-informed movement experience that blends dance, somatic awareness, and community connection. Using rhythms rooted in Latin and Afro-diasporic traditions, we’ll explore movement as a sacred tool for soulful expression, self-awareness, and inner alignment. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and guided by a holistic, heart-centered approach, this offering supports participants in reconnecting with their bodies, honoring their stories, and cultivating joy and resilience through guided reflection, breath, and embodied presence. All bodies, identities, and experience levels are welcome—no dance experience necessary.
