About the event

Responding Together. Healing Together.

The recent Lineage warehouse fire in Boyle Heights is one of many events reminding us that our communities continue to live at the intersection of environmental harm, displacement, immigration-related fear, systemic violence, economic instability, and collective grief.

In response, KLBRI launched Sana Sana: Rapid Response Healing Initiative, bringing together culturally rooted healing practices, mutual aid, wellness offerings, and community education to support those most impacted.

This Adult Mental Health First Aid training is one part of that larger commitment.

Rather than waiting for crises to overwhelm our communities, we believe everyone can develop the skills to recognize distress, respond with compassion, and accompany one another toward healing.
