Community Empowerment-Based Self-Defense + Agua Florida Medicine Making Mutual Aid Event

As part of our MMIWGR efforts in collaboration with XCNC, KLBRI invites you into a space of embodied empowerment and ancestral protection.

This Empowerment-Based Self Defense training will support you in building practical tools to defend yourself and others with confidence, awareness, and strength. More than just physical safety, this training affirms your sacredness and right to be safe in your body.

We’ll also hold a spiritual protection Agua Florida medicine-making círculo led by Melissa Caballero of Te Cuidas—a powerful act of cultural resistance and collective care, especially in response to the ongoing ICE raids in Southern California. Together, we’ll craft medicine to carry with us for cleansing, grounding, and spiritual fortification.
